Description
Join food business entrepreneurs at The Edible Startup Summit and Edible Extended. The workshop series gets underway August 24, 2015 with the Edible Startup Summit - an appetizer course in food business branding, marketing and resourcing funds to get your business going.
The Summit continues with more in-depth workshops on August 25 and 26 through 'Edible Extended.' Edible Extended features additional sessions, including: creating a product; market research; licenses, labels & regulations; developing a winning brand; product packaging & display; and advertising. Edible Extended will also offer one-on-one consultations with business experts and networking sessions.
Edible Startup Summit & Edible Extended are ideal for people who have been dreaming about starting a local food business or are in the early stages of development. These sessions will also be valuable for food businesses that are seeking to expand or diversify. Entrepreneurs who attend will leave with a packet of resources and a list of names who can help them with their venture.
You can see an agenda for both the Summit and the Extended Workshops by going to the DATCP website: http://datcp.wi.gov/Business/Buy_Local_Buy_Wisconsin/BLBW_Workshops/index.aspx.
